Eco Club was formed with the objective of creating environmental awareness. It has sensitized the students about their responsibility towards saving the natural environment and to appreciate the free gifts of nature judiciously. The club undertakes different environmental issues - Rain Water Harvesting, Alternative sources of energy - Solar Energy, Wind Energy, Water Conservation and Pollution Control. Students undertake field trips in order to understand the above mentioned concepts. Beside this, plantation drive, poster making, nature walk etc. are also conducted. These small efforts in reiterating the conservation of natural resources and their sustainable use will create environmentally conscious humans as it is correctly said by Chief Seattle:
“The Earth does not belong to us: we belong to the Earth.”
